Low Cost &
Funded Work
Equine Assisted Psychotherapy can be a really expensive therapy for people to access. We know all too well that there are big costs involved with caring for a herd of horses. We also want to pay our team a good salary so that we can hire, and look after, the very best professionals who create great outcomes for our clients.
However, we also deeply believe in making Equine Assisted Psychotherapy accessible to regular people. As a unique - and effective - form of therapy, it shouldn't be reserved only for those with considerable financial resources.
This is the core reason we set up as a Community Interest Company, it allows us to access funding to keep costs as low as possible and run free/low cost projects for those most in need. Over the past 5 years, we have secured £132,660 of funding.
Sadly in the current climate of competitive funding, we don't always have free projects running. However we do always have low cost Equine Assisted Therapy available with therapists in training. If you need an affordable option and we think a trainee is a good fit, then these are just £30/session.
Our therapists in training are usually completing postgraduate study and refining their therapeutic skills with this specialist placement in Equine Assisted Therapy. They are supervised and supported by our clinical team throughout their work with clients.
