Connected Equine Programme

Our programme is transitioning to positive reinforcement and reward-based groundwork and riding. This means that our riders are taught to implement food rewards for the horses, moving towards more ethical relationships where the horses have choice and autonomy in their work.

Not all sessions involve riding, and early work in particular may involve spending some sessions working from the ground in order to feel settled and ready to build a relationship with the horse before mounting.

The programme is run by Sara (MSc Clinical Animal Behaviour) and Georgie (BHS Stage 2 Coach) and

We are not a riding school, and attending sessions with us means you are willing to explore a new perspective and try new ways of being with horses. Sessions rarely involve cantering or jumping, and often focus on slowing down, connecting, and building healthy relationships between client, instructor, and horse.

Essential Info

Sessions are 1:1 and each lasts 50 mins, suitable for all ages.
