Therapeutic Riding Programme

A child hugging a tacked up pony.

"Therapeutic riding was a crucial part of my daughters recovery when she experienced a significant decline in her mental health and was too unwell to attend school for almost two years... it empowered her to be able to leave the safe space of her home, provided her with a sense of belonging and purpose and without this service, I feel that her recovery would have been a very different experience."

We help our clients to develop the self-awareness, somatic understanding, and reflexivity to understand how their own emotions and energy have a profound impact the horse, and how this understanding can be applied in other areas of life for better wellbeing. Sessions are 1:1 and each lasts 55 mins, suitable for all ages.

£60/session

Funded project for adults: 5 sessions at £10/session, then £25/session

Our programme follows our own framework, which includes an exploration of being mentally "ready to ride". This might include spending some sessions working from the ground in order to build a relationship with the horse before mounting. We are not a riding school, and attending sessions with us means you are willing to explore a new perspective and try new ways of being with horses.

Our instructors bring their own style to working with clients and our horses are all different. Therefore, some sessions will be relaxing, whilst others may challenge you to grow in new ways. We offer both arena work and hacking out down the local lanes.

These sessions can't be booked online so please get in touch with us,

letting us know your availability.
