Our 10 week Equine Connections Programme is an introductory experience for professionals who are interested in moving into the Equine Assisted Services industry. It is run in the evenings, making it perfect as additional CPD, as well as spending time with our beautiful herd.

 Please note - for the Summer 2025 cohort we are running Equine Connections as 2 x 5hr Saturdays. The 10 week course will return in Autumn.

 There is opportunity for learning, reflection, and practical exercises, allowing you to get a feel for facilitating the horse-human relationship.

​

Facilitated by Emily, Hope Meadows’ Founder & CEO, the course is tailored to those already working in supporting capacities such as peer support, counselling, occupational therapy, etc. You might have some horse experience or none at all, and a range of professional backgrounds are welcome.

​

The first half of the programme is structured around working with horses through body language, energy, connection, and awareness. The remaining half is more flexibly shaped by the needs and interests of the group.

 

Limited to 4 attendees to ensure it is highly personalised.
